If you have a ford premium sound or any other car that has a premium sound system,, can you replace the factory speakers without any problem or extra work?? ALso can you add a amp without any problem?

Yes on both accounts.
1) Concerning the speakers, most audio shops have a listing of virtually all vehicle makes and models, and what speakers are compatable (ohms, watts, and size). As long as you know how to access the speakers yourself, all you have to do is replace them. Getting the polarity right can be a hassel though if you don't know the wire codes.
2) You can add an amp using the factory HU and a Line Out Converter (converts a High-Level signal [speaker type wire] into a Low-Level signal that RCA's use). Run some searches on this site for "Line Out Converter" or "LOC" and you'll get alot more info.
Also, what type of vehicle(s) are you referring too? Or are you just wanting general knowledge? The guys and gals on this site are excellent at both, but specifics always help!
