noob needing system setup advice in ram

Ok all, Im a noob here as well as to car audio.  I have installed stereo systems but never really got deep into "ohm load measurements" and "to port or not to port" and such.  Mostly my abilities in the past have been to install some Infinity components, an Alpine CDA-7939 HU, ERA-G320 Sound Field Processor, a 4 Channel Clarion amp, running the front components normally, and the rear Thunderform 2X10" sub box bridged and in series.  This system sounded good too, but nowhere like what I would like to do.  None of those parts were "matched" in anyway Im sure, as I had no idea what I was shopping for, just got alot of "good stuff!" and figured it'd all work

What I have now is a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Singe Cab Short bed.  It already has the factory tweets in the A-pillars.  What I'd like to do is put in my extra Alpine head unit (not the one listed above a newer model), run a seperate 4 channel amp for the door component speakers and rear coaxial speakers, and a seperate Category D mono amp to drive a good 12" single sub behind the seat, maybe located in the middle? 

Some speaker brands I know and like are, Infinity, MB Quart, Focal, Memphis Audio, Alpine.

The variety of music I listen to varies greatly, so I need something that can handle alot of punch from country music, alot of highs from heavy rock, and even some good deep low bass from some rap.  I listen to it all guys! 

So, what would get me some damn good sound quality, amps and speaker matches for this?  And as for the sub enclosure, I can build it just fine, I'd just need to know what volume it needs to be, and how to determine how to port it and how you tune the port?

How's THAT for a first post!!!! LOL.  I'll let you guys chew this over a while and see where it goes.  In the mean while Im getting quickly sick of my old sad stock FM stereo and stock speakers lol.  It's time to start acquiring some audiophile parts!

Budge'ts not big, it's kind of a buy it at a time type of budget.  I already have a good HU, and a couple amps, a 400X4 Clarion, and a 250X1 Rockford.  I think mostly I need some good components, a single sub, build an enclosure, and wire it up, right?

Yeah Im more into clarity and clean bass, but Im not looking to rattle the bolts out of my suspension, and I could care less if some douche two blocks away can hear my boomin "tite bass, yo!" lol.  I just want it to be clean and have some good power to rock out in the cab and still have it vibrate my seats decently.
