Has anybody here used us amplifiers?I am going to be building a spl system in my 93 honda civic and my hifonics amp went bad on me so i am looking for a 1 ohm stable amp.Us amps is what i am leaning twords are they any good

I had one many, many years ago and I loved it.  I haven't heard anyone talk about them in the past few years though - are they still around?

Me too KPierson  I had 2 vlx-400's on 6 jl w6 18's years ago...when i was a bass head........we sell us amps and they are still great in my opinion still today.....The xterminator series are so-so.

they still get great reviews in most car-fi magazines on their newer stuff

I have always heard to stay away from the lower end of the the new US amps line. My friend has one and it isn't bad, though.
The higher end lines are still suppose to be top notch equipment.

yea, i really like mine, i'm running a md1d @ 1 ohm it hits hard and sounds great too.in fact i'm replacing all my speakers with all re audio.
It is what it is!
