Hi all, im having a problem with my High/ Low converter. ive searched the forum but cant quite find this particular problem. i have a 2001 Deville DTS with Bose and i have the converter connected to the rear speaker. while the music is playing, the sound volume goes very loud then very quiet, all by itself, like a sound fluctuation. To my knowledge it looks like its connected correctly what could it be?

You can not interface with the Bose system with a standard LOC. The output signal is crossed over already to the speakers and causes variable results. You can not use the deck output either with a standard LOC because it's a constant 1/4v output that does not change with volume.

I have heard that you can use a REQ5 and this will work, but have not used it on the DeVille.
