Lookin in the near future to be setting up a system in my car. Here are my ideal components, any advice on my choices and wiring it up/will these components work together would be much appriciated. The whole system will be installed into a 2001 Dodge Stratus R/T. I will be doing the Big 3 upgrade, upgrading to either 2 red top or yellow top optima batteries(help- red or yellow), and a HO 160amp alternator(should or shouldnt- other juice suckin goodies will be in the car too).

Headunit: Pioneer AVIC-Z110BT
Front Speakers: Pioneer Premier TS-D702P 6.75" (2 per door)
Rear Speakers: Pioneer Premier TS-D902P 6"x9"
Subwoofers Amplifier: Pioneer GM-D8400M (Total of 2)
Speakers Amplifer: Pioneer GM-D9500F
Subwoofers: 12"- Pioneer Premier TS-W1208D2 (4 total)    OR
                        10"- Pioneer Premier TS-W1008D2 (4 total)
I cant decide what size subwoofers to run, and the subs will be wired according to the wiring guide on here( Voice coils wired in series, speakers wired in parallel )
Any advice, comments or component changes would be welcome! Thank you so much

The only advice I have for you is to disconnect the negaiiver terminal of the battery untill all connections are made.  If you have to remove or rewire one of your amps, disconnect the battery again, untill all connections are made.   Your radio and your ears will be glad you did.

With that kind of equipment and set up would you recommend 12" or 10" subwoofers?
