Alright guys, ive got an 01 F-250 and I do have a CB radio, and a PA hooked up to the cb. The pa speaker is rated for 35 watts, and the cb puts out 3 or 4 I think. I was going to wire it to an amp to use the full 35 watt potential of the speaker. Run from the output of the CB to a LOC and then to the low-level input on the amp, then out of the amp to the PA speaker. I see no reason why this wouldn't work, but Im looking for opinions. Thanks guys.

As long as you don't overpower it, it'll work. It's gonna sound like CRAP, (the audio output of the CB will be VERY narrow-band) but it'll work.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

I dont get why it would sound like crap.... Its just voice... No music or anything... I just got done hooking up an amp, and im pretty sure I AM over powering it, maybe I will turn the gain down some... It is A LOT louder and sounds good too.

I think haem missed the point of your set up was to be able to yell at people outside of your truck. Not to sound like his OOBER sick stereo system.

I cant stand when people do that with their stereo system... If I wanted to listen to what they are listening to I would put my radio on the rap station too....
