I want to install a cd player in my 95 monte carlo, and the wires on the new player are labelled like this:

(yellow wire)  Memory 12V +

(red wire)  12V Plus

I was just wondering what these mean, in relation to the info I got on your site, is one constant and is one switched?  any help wouold be appreciated.

the yellow wire must have constant power at all times (this allows ur radio to keep the time and station presets in memory), and the red wire is ignition; has power when car is on, and no power when the car is off.
