ok i want to build a box to where the ports go into the back dash does anyone have any clue how to do this or how it would work or anything or have tryed it?

You will have to make an enclosure that will be suspended from the rear dash or make one where the ports protrude outside of the box and extend into the rear dash area. Another thing to watch out for is if you have a vehicle without trunk lifts ( only trunk cross beams ) then you have to accomodate the crossbeams into the design. How many subs are you installing and what size are they ? What year, make & model vehicle is this ?

I think those vehicles have shocks for the trunk lid so the rear deck is free for an enclsoure to be mounted straight to the deck. The most time consuming this is getting those damn factory speakers out of the dash. YOu have to take out the rear seat to do it and it's a pain in the @$$ !! Once the rear speakers are removed, you will have to build yourself a new back dash to cover up the speaker holes and show off the new port holes.

i have built many of these boxes i feel the best way is to do a band pass and the best way to calculate this is using a 2:1 ratio 2 meaning ported and 1 meaning seald if you have any questions feel free and email me i will do what ever i can do to help

i never tried that i always made my boxes from scratch if you need some help i will need to know some specs from your trunk just let me know what you want to do

k..... well im lookin for good sq + spl at the same time so im thinkin bout just makin a sealed box
