aright......if this is somethin major imma be pissed..............ok i was workin out by my car just now (not with any wiring or any electrical stuff at all, i was buildin my fiberglass stuff).....so i had my stereo on to keep me company.....it all sounded fine till the song ended, when the next song started the bass seemed to be lower then normal.....i kinda ignored it for a lil bit till the next song when i knew the bass hits hard on that track......i went and looked at my stuff......i have a kenwood amp......and the on it was dimming as the bass hit ( i kinda thought that was odd so i looked at my HU).....when i looked at that all of the backlighting and buttons were dimming also........

I have no idea what could cause this but all i know is that my entire car isnt getting the power it needs.......if this is my alternator imma be pissed cuz they cost a fortune dont they?.........some one PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds too me like your battery is going dead. So either give it a nice charge or go out and get a replacement. I'll take it your car wasn't running which means that your alternator is taken out of the question. So doesn't seem to be anything major. But if the problem is there when your car is running and you have replaced the battery you might be in for a new alt.

nah nothing too crazy. Just take not of what you've got in there and the amount of space you have. You'll be fine going to the same size battery but you can always got to a little bigger if you like. Pretty much depends on budget.
