Factory Radio 2003 Dodge Ram

yeah it has a factory amp, any dodge/chrysler/jeep  vehicle with infinity factory sound system has an amp.  if you look at the harness, there will be a wire to turn the amp on, hook it up to the remote wire on the aftermarket radio.

well if its not infinity system then there is no amp.

Is should just be a typical chrysler 6 speaker setup (4 woofers and 2 tweeters in the dash) and no amp.   As far as I know the Infinity system is Chrysler's "premium" sound system line.  So if yours doesn't have it there is probably not an amp in there.  To double check, you should contact your local dealership and ask.  They should be able to tell you fo sure.Duane...
