I am looking to add on a pioneer sub woofer.  How do I hook into existing unit?

Post up more info, we need to know what amp you have and if the car has an infinty sound system or not.

OK. Sub is pioneer ts-w29-c, 10", 450 w, 4 ohms. Sound system is infinity 10.  Thanks.

Yes you need an amp, any 2 channel amp that bridges to 150 watts rms mono minimum should do quite nice, you will also need a quality LOC (line output convertor) to convert the speaker level signal to a signal that the new amp can use.
