2000 Elantra, removing radio

i have a 00 hyndai elantra. it belongs to a friend and i need to know how to remove an after market radio from this vehicle. the radio is a pioneer. i havent installed a radio in this vehicle before.

any help would be greatly app.

Try this first.  Visit a sound shop and see if they'll let you use some Pioneer keys.  Remove the faceplate (assuming it's detachable).  Remove the trim bezel from around the outside.  Insert the keys on the outsides of the radio and slide it out.

If this doesn't work (no keys) or the radio was not installed using a kit (ISO mount), then follow the steps in this link:
