Installing Ultra start alarm/ remote start on 2000 VW Beetle. Everything works great, considering this is the first alarm I've done in 5 years. I can't set the alarm in reservation mode in order to remote start later. I go through the steps to put it in reservation mode, which are with car running put in nutral, pull e-brake, tap brake and lights should come on which they do. Turn car off and it should stay running and shut itself off. It dies as soon as I turn key off. I've learned tach signal and every thing else is working fine. Please help!!

i don't remember the color..... but there is a wire on that unit that must be grouded i believe.... do some investigation
