I got a used Pioneer DEH-P5200 Cd player and I wanted to install it in my new car but I left the connector that came with it in my old car when I junked it.  I have got all the equipment I need except that connector and was planning on building a new one but I have no idea which pin does what.

If anyone can help me out with the functions of the pins on the back of the stereo that would be great.

Thanks

Mike

Don't even try it, possible damage to the cd player is more expensive than buying the proper harness. Find a service shop for Pioneer and have the harness ordered. if you are intent on trying this, use a soldering iron that is not butane, too much heat transfer onto the small pins goes right to the circuit board.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

No, I don't wanna solder directly to the pins.  I've got some extra electronics gera and I salvaged a connector to use to attach to the CD player.  I just don't know the pinout to properly wire the connector to the harness I have for my vehicle.
