I want a good amp that will power two Infinity Kappa Perfect 12VQ's. Is there such an amp that will match up pretty well with these subs. It has to look good too because i'm going to showcase the amp in the trunk. Thanks for all who reply.

rockford's t8802, mtx1501D if you wanted to over power a little, viper amps d1200.1  would work  are you looking for a class D or a two channel?

good question... with a class D if i were to hook up the subs in "parallel" would i only get half the power out of the amp per sub. I'm not quite sure how everything works. A two channel is ideal too.

i would suggest a class D just because you would probally end up bridging the 2 channel anyways

I was looking at the Phoenix Gold Octane R series amps (class D) any suggestions. I haven't heard which brand is better than another yet.

if you went with the phoenix amp you would need to get the amp rated at 1500w.

The perfect amp is sitting on a shelf next to a the fountain of youth, flux capacitor, and any other imaginary object. No matter how you wire speakers on an amplifier, the speaker's will share it's power no matter how they are wired. What you would want would be an amplifier that is the most efficient. For bass I would personally go with a mono/1 channel amplifier (or at least bridging a 2 channel, this way there would be no cancellation caused by using two cannels for the subs. I like RF for bass, but they aren't the best looking amps.
