The factory Infinity system on my Dodge had amps on the rear speakers, coming out of the amp were a blue and white wire to the speaker terminals.  The head unit died and I replaced with aftermarket so the factory amps were too much.  I have bypassed them but there is no label on the terminals so I don't know which is + and which is -.  I turned it on low and it has out put either way, but I am not looking to do damage.  Does it really matter and can I determine this?

It doesn't matter which one you use for positive and negative just do the same thing throughout the car.

With speakers you can switch from neg to pos without hurting anything but theres only one right combo :)
