I'm having trouble running my 2 xtant 10" subs on an xtant a6001t, and running my mids and highs off the head unit alpine cda-9815..I want to run it like this until I can get a good 4 channel for my speakers, but the head unit, wont power up the amp and run my other speakers at the same time, unless I turn off the internal amp in the head unit, then I lost my mids and highs...anyone that can give me some hints on this would help..Alpine says the radio could be bad..I'm just wondering if I have something wired wrong..

Sounds like you have a problem with your HU, , it should work fine with the internal amp on, and should still send a rca signal and power to the amp turn on wire.      For now you can hook your amp turn on wire to your accessorie wire to get the amp to turn on.

Which ACC wire are you talking about? Right now I have the amp turn on lead to another good 12volt source instead of the head unit's remote turn on, because it wasn't working with it hooked up to that one.  I have a toggle switch i'm using right now to power it up, and I have power to it.

the red wire comming off your deck will work as a turn on wire.

.use the remote wire to turn on a relay which will then supply remote power to your amp... cost you about 5 bucks and wont overload the 100 ma remote turn-on circuit of the Alpine

I have power to the amp through the regular remote turn-on wire, I just have no sound..its like the rca's aren't sending any signal to to the amp..Alpine suggested I send it to them to have it looked at, but for the price to fix the HU I could probably by another one.

please dont tell me that you hooked the 100ma blue remote wire as the main power feed to your amp....i must have  misread that.....

you may have blown something in the power supply of the amp.....

No No No...I have a 4ga power wire to the amp, and the remote turn-on from the hu to the xtant amp...Its the signal i'm not getting from the radio..I tried an mp3 player with rca, and plugged that into the amp with it powered up and the subs worked, but from the hu, they dont..so its something in the radio i think
