i was wondering i can't get memory on my deck. so i ran a wire from my red an yellow wire to the fuse block to get memory. is there anyother way to get memory. thank u. p.s. i have an 86 cutlass supreme.

inorder to get memory, you will need to connect the yellow wire to constant power all the time.  You can try to find a constant power by the fuse box.  In a cutlass, you should have a constant wire already ran in the dash.  Check all your fuses in the fuse box to make sure that they are all ok.

Check all wires with a Digital meter.

If your deck works with the factory radio wiring but you don't have memory, you probably have your constant and switched power wires reversed. The constant power wire should go to an orange wire in the factory 2-pin connector, and the switched should go to a yellow wire in the 12-pin connector.
