I made this box awhile back that i put in a explorer... i had a bandpass bf and it slammed but i wnated something that i built so i made this well when i made it i was lookin for design and didnt calculate volume and now i got 2.2 cu ft inside for 2 12 kicker cvr's it has bass but its real low and not very hard hitten like i wanted i put a buddy of mines ported box in there and it was just what i wanted(box was ported at 29 hz.) so is it possible to add a port to this existing box with only 2.2 cu ft or if not waht should i do

The CVR should be in a vented box with a minimum 1.75 ft3 as shown an this chart http://www.kicker.com/ShowPage.cfm?filename=compvrsub.html&menu=SUBWOOFERS  You might consider adapting your box for one of them and building another.

Double-check your wiring on the speakers and the wiring to the amp.  Are they DVC 2 ohm or DVC 4 ohm?  When you say the bass is "real low", it sounds like the problem might be related to impedence.

When you have checked that all out, post what exactly you have and how its hooked up.  If you decide to go ported, there are some good calculators available to determine the port size to use.

Read my post, aem.  You can't use that box ported for those 2 subs.  And what about the wiring?
