I am installing an amp for a friend.  He has a Rampage 240 Watt 4 channel amp with a 10 amp fuse on the amp itself.  Do I still have to fuse the amp on the power wire when it already fused on the amp?

yes you do.. the fuse on the amp is for protecting the amp..the fuse in the power wire is to protect the wire and preventing a diaster if the power wire were to get grounded out somewhere, preventing one hell of a meltdown and possible catching your car on fire
