I'm not a hockey fan, but I noticed on the news that the Flames lost the Stanley Cup to some team from Florida.  My condolences to all my Canuk bretheren up north.

thats OK... we just pick someone to cheer for as an excuse to drink a lot of beer and raise a little hell......

the only cross border sporting event worth celebrating was when Toronto won the World Series....

Yup, the minute the Canucks lost I could care less about hockey. A Florida team winning the Stanley Cup, who is next... The New Delhi Cobras? Anchorage Sled Dogs, Idaho's Red Pototoes... There are way too many teams in the NHL right now, take away half of them and make it like it used to be, then I'll be interested again. (The Canucks could have kicked TBL's butt no questions asked)

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

That is simply so wrong. When the cup goes to florida you really need to wonder what the hell they are putting in the beer up there?

Don't worry guys, the Tampa Bay Lightening may be a "Florida" team but I don't believe there are any actual Floridians on the team. It was pretty much a bought team, not one recruited from the local talent pool. I live in Florida, and believe it or not we do have ice rinks down here *laughing*

Funniest thing Is I dont think there are more than 4 or 5 americans on Tampa Bay, the whole team is either European or Canadain anyways. Happy to see that if the Flames didnt win at least Dave Andrechuck won a cup finally. He's been playing in the NHL for 22 damn years now, mabye he can retire happy now?
