Im looking at putting in one Eclipse titanium 15 in a BMW 330i and was wonderin what would be a good amp to run it at its RMS (750). I love alpine amps and was trying to find a way to wire the dual 4 ohm model with 2 mrd-m301s but just couldnt do it. Any help would be appreciated. Also, if i were to run it with the MRD-M1001 would my alternator die do u think? thanks

you can easily run that sub at 1000wrms as long as its not distorted.

Get the big mono alpine amp and go hard. If the alternator can't keep up then I guess you know what the next purchase will be.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

The alpine digital amps are extreemly efficient so your toyota alt will be ok for the time being, but i would look into spending $300 on a new alt, , , i just got one for my pathfinder, its great, , now i need a stereoEclipse Titanium 15 amp -- posted image.

My co worker has a mrd-m1000 , he's useing 4 awg wire for that and a mrv-f540.  80 amp inline fuse, and has no problems.  I belive the max draw of that amp is like 60 amps, comes with a 80 amp fuse tho.

Definately go with this years MRD-M1001, they look sooooooooooooooooo sweet.
