cd player cut off

i was taking off the rca jacks that i had hooked up to the back of my cd player, when i was putting the cd player back in it cut off and it wont turn on. I also had to unhook the battery wire that was used for the eq. can anybody give me some suggestions on what it could be

If the cd player was on when you was putting it back in and it shut down sounds like you blew a fuse or a wire disconnected itself.  Check all of your wiring first and next your fuses.  You don't want to change a blown fuse with out checking your wiring first.  This could cause you to blow another fuse and possibly your unit.

yea i went back and double checked and the fuse was out.
