I have an 04 Frontier and want to upgrade my speakers. There are factory tweeters in the column and woofers in the doors. I want to get Infinity Reference 6000cs component speakers. Would it be OK if I replace the factory speakers without using the infinity crossover. I'm building my system slowly and want to make installation easier. I want to add the crossovers when I get an amp.

I'd just save a little extra, buy the amp, and install them together the right way the first time.

Chances are it won't sound good unless you use the Infinity crossover.  Depending on the factory setup you could end up damaging the tweeter.

there is factory crossovers on nissans, so you can go ahead with it, but i in no way reccomend it.  You should definately use the crossover.
