I am trying to install navigation in my friends 2000 jetta and I need to tap the VSS (Vehicle speed sensor) in order to get a more accurate reading.
Can anyone help?
Its a 2000 jetta, 4 cylinder 2.0L
I have checked with vwvortex and while no one seems sure, the general consensus was its a GREEN / WHITE wire going into a 32 pin blue plug on the back on the tachometer. Can anyone confirm this or offer any insite?
Thanks in advance

Well this just confused me even more.
https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/detail.asp?info=alarm&year=2000&make=Volkswagen&model=Jetta&ID=19117&type=Cruise
That has the VSS listed as a WHITE/ blue wire
