i downloaded the stereo wire diagram. the  colors i have are a little different, i have a purple wire and there is not a purple wire in the diagram.the new deck does not need illumiation or dimmer wires. and still no power the deck.                                                   

p.s. i used the deck i my van before so i now it works

are you using a wiring interface or did you hack off all the wires on the factory plug?   did you relocate the OEM radio or use a data interface module?

i used a the same year wiring harness for a gm car. the adaptor was the same, but 2  wires needed to be moved. no big deal so one told me that it needs another power wire from the fuse box? thank you for the fast reply

yes you will have to run the Acc power lead to the fuse box... did you do this?
