Remote wire

I need to get a wire for the remote connection from the amp in the trunk to the hu. What kind of a wire it should be and what size?

standard 18-20 gauge remote wire will do........

I usually don't shop for wires, so this is a new thing to me. Should I look for a wire that specifically says "remote wire"? Or it can be any wire, even a speaker wire?

any wire, yes you can even take speaker wire and peel off the one side ( or not ).... most install shops have "remote" wire in bulk for 5 to 10 cents a foot....

go to walmart and buy a cheap spool of wire.
