Have a look at www.installdr.com to see if the backside of your deck looks similar to what is there. If you have a Bose (ewwww) system in the vehicle it will probably be different.

What you need is a LOC (line output adaptor) which will convert a speaker lead to a rca lead. This is added to one pair of speakers and all the adaptor does is sample the signal going to the speakers and creates a rca signal based off of it. You do not lose any sound to the other speakers. After the LOC all you need is the amp - box - sub of your choice.

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

I have a 2003 Grand Prix GT withthe bose system in it. You can get an amp with high level input and splice the speaker out wires of the back of the existing amp or wires in the trunk. I you have the amp that came with the car (if bose) you can get the sens and the power lead off the back of the existing amp as well. There should be some 10 or 8 gauge wirl already back there, so you can run a descent size amp if you want. Just make sure you use your DMM to make sure the connections are right.
