Does anyone have (or know where to find) the T/S (Theile-Small) parameters for any of the Cerwin-Vega V-Max series? I'm looking for the 10 inch mainly.

Try going to http://www.cerwin-vega.com, and requesting from tech. services. They should be able to help you out.

I've done that request from Cerwin-Vega and the tech support emailed back within a day with the parameters. Then when I received the woofer the T/S data was enclosed with it.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

Yes I am and so is Chad, from what he has said. He has a more elaborate system than I do, but we agree that the CV is good bang for the buck. I've never pushed mine past its limits, though.

I am planning out a very moderate system for a friend's car. Thinking of using two V-Max 10s (firing to the rear glass) for bass, pushing max RMS on them of course. It's an Integra hatchback. Think it will bump enough (read: enough to rattle teeth but not the neighbors)?

Make sure your friend puts the money where it will do the most good, especially the sheet metal sound damping and the sub enclosure. One sub with 200 watts will rattle your teeth if the install is good.

My money actually ;oP It's her Christmas present.

She's already got some decent (could be better) pioneer coax all the way around and a random old Sony head unit that came with it.

I'm just kinda getting ideas together right now for it. Looks like I'm going to end up doing a small wrap-around mdf/fiberglass sub/amp box setup. Probably top-firing, haven't gotten out the protractor and tape measure yet to see about that though, I'd like to fire into the back to save space though. Probably going to build her a whole new floor in the back also since hers has gone to crap. Trying to keep the whole thing hidden under the hatch cover also since the car is on the "to-be-stolen A-list" and she can't afford anything beyond liability.

It'll be set up correctly, no need to worry on that, just tying to decide on subs. Trying to keep the subs under 500 RMS if I can, experiance has told me that anything above that just starts getting too expensive. My >1000W system in my car got expensive quick.
