I get thes sounds when I pull out the deck/eq, Punch the amp and wiggle the loose rca connections.

Could it be any of these reasons?

My EQ and Headunit are screwed together using 2 peices of sheetmetal

the rca at the (sub) connectors are loose,

Im using EFX Rca cables..

When does punching the amp become an acceptable repair proceedure?  Somewhere else, you stated that you had 6 years experience, is this the first time you came across this problem?  Been in Hamilton for 30 years, never heard of your shop.  Anyways, to answer your question.   Yes.

The problem was one of my RCA inputs were bent and resting on the frame of the amp..

Problem solved!
