Hey I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with this one. I just bought a new ford ranger 2001 and it has an edge pckg. I liked the 6 cd changer that came with the truck so for the time being I would like to just hook up my amp and sub to the factory stereo. i do plan in the future to switch over but not now and at the time being my amp has RCA jacks to receive the input from the head but the head has no RCA outputs is there someway to go around this. All help will be greatly appreciated

You need to purchase a Line Out Converter (LOC).

Do it right the first time

You're installing an amp and sub.  What head unit does the truck have in it, the factory original or a new one?   Wait, you started a new thread here.......I just saw your previous one.  You are trying to find the speaker wiring to connect to the LOC, is that right?   Have you checked out this  2000 Ford Ranger Stereo Information
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

yup thats right. the thing is I looked in that section of this site but it is not for a 2001 ford ranger and unfortunately it doesn't match up for some wierd reason I think ford changes their color codes from year to year sometimes
