I want to replace the head unit on my 99 Prelude. I am fairly new at installing stereos and could use some help. I have a couple of questions. First, is there anything I need to know or should do involving the Acoustic Feeback System? Second, could someone tell me what i will need to know to install a new head unit. Thanks for all the help!!!

You will need a wiring adaptor plug and also here is the instruction son removal:

1) Using a panel tool carefully pry upward on the radio dash bezel and remove.

2) Remove (2) screws holding the stereo sub dash piece in place and remove.
3) Remove (4) screws holding the stereo to the stereo sub dash.
4) Unplug all wiring.

Thanks for the instructions. I'm sure that will be helpful. Is there anything I should know or do reguarding the acoustic feedback system.

Nothing that I can remember about it. It's a fancy name for a higher end system that Honda uses.

So, can I just swap out the factory head unit for the new one and be done?
