Radio quit? -- posted image.I need a little help. I just replaced the speakers in the front door of my 94 Grand Cherokee and added tweeters with the crossovers. Every thing was working fine and the speakers sounded great. Well today I got in the Cherokee today and the radio would not do anything. Checked the fuses and they were ok. Pulled the radio( factory radio)  out and check the connections. Gound was good and I still had 12V constant and 12V switched. Don't know what else to check. Anybody have any suggestions.

check to see if there is a reset switch if not the overload of speakers through a factory unit showed to be too much the channele may have gone.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.

Radio quit? -- posted image. There is no reset switch. Is it possble for the radio to go if it is not playing? One other thing, when I went to get in the car the alarm was off. I do have a 16 year old son. It may be he had something to do with it. Of course he pleads ignorance. One thing I did notice it seemed like the drivers side speakers were not as loud as the passenger side speakers. So if the channel if gone do I need to get a new radio?

I'm going to replace the radio. I'm thinking about going with the Kenwood  KDC-X959 or the Pioneer  DEH-8400MP. Will either one of these head units have enough power to run the following speakers. In front I'm going with the Infinity Kappa 60.5cs and in the back I'm going with the Infinity Kappa 652.5i. I don't plan on adding any subs at this time. Any suggestions or advice on these units would be great. Thanks........
