which would be a better choice:
Rockford Fosgate RFX8340 or
Panasonic CQ-C3400U
i have read the reviews and mp3 support is not a big selling point

i personally didnt find the panasonics i saw on display that appealing, flashy decks must look nice if they are trying to push that point, imo, and they just didnt doit, and i found pioneer decks to have a better interface.
never tried rockford, but i wouldnt be shy to try it in comparison to what i saw from panasonic. havent even looked at specs so im just giving you the impression i got from the panasonics i've seen

What about the panasonic cq-c5310u?    If you are not going for flasy screens and such.   This has all the features you could want...Aux in,Changer in, front rear sub out,   HPF and LPF, 7 band eq fully adjustable..actually works very well I was really impressed

Pesonally, I wouldn't be caught dead with anything less than NAK, Eclipse and Alpine. Especially, the old school. A good ol Alpine has proven itself a real work horse time after time for me over the years.  Eclipse, just recently won me over. 35 people gave my CD 5303R 4.25 or 4.75 out of 5.
