First of all: This is a great forum with a very original name. I love every thing that works on 12V .
I live in Norway, and have sometimes a little bit of problem with my US/English spelling (maybe I sleep too much in the classroom when we teach US/English). Please forgive me for that, I do my best.
For a months ago, I buy a new (new for me) 2003 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4X4 5,4L 10.000 miles and 10 months old. The owner was the manager in the local Ford dealer. The car smell and looks like a new one. So fare I'm happy. But I'm not happy with original Ford CD/cassette/radio system. I want to change to another audio system, an example Pioneer, Alpine, Sony etc. with build in GPS and a LCD/TFT screen. It supposes that I still can use the remote control on the steering wheel. That’s a very important point.
So finally to my question: Does it exist a cable, or something like a converting system for my car? If it exists, please can someone give me a link to the product with part number etc. or the dealer? It works very well with a PM to.
Thank you for attention from a frozen body living in Norway. The temperature outside at the moment is 14 Fahrenheit. We have about 4” with white perfect cold snow, clear half-moon on the sky.
Regards
Lauda

Greetings and welcome.  Norway may be cold but it is beautiful (I was in Oslo in 1998.)

Try a PAC SWI-X interface to use the steering wheel controls on your new stereo.  Cheers.

Thank You DYohn!
The PAC SWI-X interface was exactly what I'm looking for. The price was OK too. The shipping to Norway will maybe coast more than this part.
About Norway: You are welcome back in the summer time. I promises that you will like it, sunny and hot, nice girls and extremely expensive beer.

Hey Lauda, thanks for the invitation.  I already have my nice girl, but next trip maybe we can share an expensive beer or two!
