I have pretty limited space where I need to put an amp so I'm going with a 4-channel and going to run 2-channels @4ohm & 2-channels @2ohm and I need some opinions on which to get for the most bang for my buck (and which would be cleaner):
Lanzar HTG434 (4x150@4 - 4x250@2) $134
MA Audio HK597 (4x200@4 - 4x400@2) $200
Soundstream VGA500.4 (4x125@4 - 4x250@2) $269
I'm not really tied to a tight budget just really tight on space so I need a 4-channel amp w/good power that isn't wider than 16" or so.
I've used Lanzar before and I know they're nowhere near the best but I was happy with what I got out of them.
Any help or insights to these amps would be appreciated, thanks

I wouldnt suggest a Lanzar. Of those three amps I would suggest the Soundstream, but I would look around at some other amps to. Why do you only have limited space, is it going behind the seat of a pickup?

Yes, it's going in between a custom sub box under the rear seat of the truck

Alpine amps are pricy, but really i would suggest the soundstream. They are great amps. They have always treated me well.

Thanks for the input...The Soundstream was the one I've been leaning toward anyway....I'm either going with CDT or ID comps & subs to go along w/the Soundstream and my Alpine 9831 HU

lol  Go CDT for your comps and ID for your subs. If your on a budget get the CDT EF series, which are great, and the IDV2's or if you wanna cough up the extra change the IDMAX's are fantastic.

No one has mentioned this yet.  Why are you buying a 4-channel amplifier to run 2-channels?

You do know that bridging increases distortion, right?
