I planning on hooking my new components and coaxials by a 4 channel amp. but im not going to put the wiring through the door grommet cause its just going to be a pain. So Im planning on just cutting the factory wire to each of the door speakers and crimping the door speaker half to a 16 guage wire which then hooks into the amp. This is where i need help. I dont know which factory wire goes to which door speaker and i dont know which wires are positive or negetive. Could someone who has done this kind of work in an expedition tell me what colors are which? Would it be better if i ran the wiring from the amp straight to the back of the unit? Thankyou

If I am stuck in a bind like this I try to use as little factory wiring as possible, If I am doing a install I like to have most of the wire ran to be replaced.   Thats just me though
