Remote/Ant. wire from deck isnt working

I think I damaged the pin for this wire.. Anyways, I was just wondering if it was ok to use the switched 12v wire from the deck, and maybe tap a remote wire for my amp instead of using the remote wire from the deck? Does that make any sense?!

Im not sure if this will work, but try using the ACC. wire. That way the amp wont be on all time. It will only be on when the ignition is on.

Yes, you can tap into the red wire on the back of the radio it will have power with the car on, and an open circuit with the car off.
