I just installed 2 elcipse 12"s in a denali they sound great but i have some kind of interference problem.
When the car is on and i close the door there is a "whhhhhaaaaaa" noise that comes from the speakers when the light dims. I think it is some sort of grounding problem? if i take the radio fuse out the sound does not happen and if i turn the lights off in the cab (dome over ride) there is no noise when i shut the door. when i press the button once the door is closed there is a popping noise.
The system is using the stock bose stereo. I connected a line leven converter to the wires under the center console from there the wires run down the side panel between the door and carpet. I did run both the power and rca cables on the same side of the car... could this be the problem??? the other thing is that there are 2 brown wires from the line level converter but the manual said that they were not necessary unless i did not get sound from the system.
Sory for the long post... any help would be appreciated thanks

I had the same problem in my Jeep after I put in my RS. I never could find out what was causing it(I know it was a ground loop). I put in a filter and it fixed it. But I removed my system to put a bunch of stuff back there and when I put it back, I couldn't find the filter. For some reason the sound was just gone. Everything was hooked up same as before, but the noise was gone. Wierd sh*t.
