Hi everyone, I'm trying to add an amp and sub to my 2000 taurus factory radio but cant find the remote or accessory line, I hooked up a hi/lo converter to the rear speakers and have the power line from the battery but i dont know if the remote line is off the factory amp in the trunk or off the power antenna, any help is appreciated, thanks

You won't find a remote turn on wire with factory deck.  But you should find a switched 12V supply wire along the side of the car where the antenna hookup is, same side as the factory amp.  The chassis grounding location is there as well and is a good place to ground your amp (if it is located near that side).  Test with your meter but I think it's a GREEN/ black wire.  Use that for remote on when the key is ON or at ACC position.  It's a good idea to put a small fuseholder and a 1-amp fuse in that remote wire.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
