I was wondering if any of you guys know what the set up of a 350Z's dash is when you take it apart. The reason for me asking is I have a customer that would like the AVIC-D2 installed in the factory navigaion spot. There is a door above the radio that opens and if they have factory navi. the screen would be behind it, right now it is just a pocket. I guess the question I am asking is have any of you guys been able to fit a double din unit in that opening above the radio and was the plastic door/cover still able to close. I have done a head unit on a 350z before but i forget how it came apart and what was behind it. The customer was on the phone so I wasnt able to look at the size of the opening of where they wanted it so any insight or information would be awesome.  Thanks.

Has the AVIC-D2 even been released yet?  DO you mean the D1?
