ok i have a jl audio e-2150 and i just noticed that its goin into protection...i cant think of anything why it would go into protection...it has alot of power (2 farads of cap and optima yellow top) and its not brigged...4ohms to each channle..they are 2 5 1/4 alpine type-s speakers and everything is wired up correctly..the only thing that i could think of is that the frequency might be too high...but i dont kno if that has an effect on it...the ground is a good chassis ground on a master ground...i need help cause imma throw that amp away!

It's a JL...nuff said

On a first guess, I would look into a grounded speaker wire, check all your leads with a meter to see if any are grounded out. While you're at it with a meter, do the same for your ground to check for high resistance.

Good suggestions, and also check your gain setting.

And if you decide to 'throw the amp away," send it to me and I'll take care of it for you.  jl audio e-2150 goin into protection, why? -- posted image.
