Greetings!
First off, wanted to say hi and pose a question. My 2000 Chevy Cav wound up getting the wire harness cut off when my cousin decided to "install" a Stereo deck in my car. I got left with an uninstalled stereo and a "Sorry, dude." I still have the harness, which has all the leads running off of it. I was wondering if it would be possible to reattach the harness to the wiring and use an aftermarket conversion harness, or am I SOL.
Many thanks!

no problem  just solder the harness back on wire by wire and you are good to go.... make sure if there are more than 1 wire of a specific color that you VERIFY the wire before connecting it to make sure you dont get them mixed up....

Yes, and if it doesn't work when you put it back together, you may have a blown fuse or two.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
