Installed an alpind cda-9856 into a 2002 ford f-150. Tried putting in the terk dedicated unit xmdalp100. The unit is not recgonizing the xm. It will swith to xm put nothing happens. I checked the site and it wasn't listed to be compatable with any of the new xm units. Are they coming out with new models or should these models be compatable.

Make sure your Terk digital adaptor has a black sticker on the front that says " compatable with 2005 units". The original ones don't work on 2005 and 2006 HU.

There is no such thing as free installation!
