I did my Ranger a while back but this double DIN is giving me fits. There are 5 holes on each side and you are supposed to use 2 ford kits to pull it out. Does the extra hole on the top hold anything in or is it just for a mounting trim piece?

No, just use two sets of ford keys.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

Man, something is wrong with this thing. Ive pulled and pulled, bent all the keys up, even took the fascia off that the tape/mini-disc player usually goes into so I could get leverage.   Theres gotta be a screw. Mazda told me it would cost me 40 bucks for them to pull it out even using my keys. There has to be an extra screw somewhere.
