I've been looking at the Eclipse AVN5495 and talking to a few of the custom shops around central Florida. Half tell me the double DIN will fit and the other tell me it won't. It's a 2002 Tahoe LT non Bose with OnStar. Can't really find much information on the stock system. It seems to have six speakers and a sub. Does anyone know for sure if the double DIN will fit? Any kits and harnesses out there that will allow me to use my factory speakers and sub/subs with this head unit?

Your factory radio is a DIN-and-a-half, so you'll have to modify the bezel and possibly relocate the a/c controls.  A local shop should be able to set you up with an interface piece- I recommend Soundgate over the PAC garbage (too many product issues/ tech support not helpful IMO).
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

The Double Din will work, but it will require some dash modifications.  I've acutally done five or six of the Eclipse AVN units in that body style.  Nothing major like relocating the AC controls, just filing the dash, and filling in the gaps on the side.  I had one customer who didn't want to pay for any extra fabrication on the dash and just had me put ABS plastic on either side of the deck or you can fill it in with fiberglass and paint to make it look great.  Depends on how much you want to spend.  PAC's OS1 works fine, I have one in my truck currently with no issues, and is probably easier to get your hands on.  Soundgate's stuff is good too, I've had just as many issues with thier stuff as PAC so talk with your installer to see what they are more comfortable with.
