hooking up a line out converter isnt that hard, all you need to do is hook up the left and right + and - wires, to the respective wires from your rear or front speaker wires leaving the factory head unit.   and viola, 4 wires. However setting the (gain, volume, dunno what its called) dial on them is more tricky, because you want to make sure it is putting out the same amount that your amplifier wants to see it recieve. sort of start low and test it slowly, I would assume (how i did mine). Umm, hook the remote wire up to the 12v ignition wire. or a power antenna. stick a multimeter into the back of the plate till you get 12v when the car is on, then make sure it goes away when the car is off, and theres the remote hookup. good luck

One LOC maker, Navone, states to start with the LOC gains all the way up and slightly lower them a little at a time only if necessary.  Listen to the music as you do this (or use test tones) and you'll find the point where it sounds cleanest.  Then reset the amplifier gains afterwards.  Then you leave it all alone.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

I can't see you're pic, but you can go to a source that shows 12 volts only with the key turned.  Use a multimeter to find a wire that does this.  If you don't have a meter you can get one at RadioShack for around 20 dollars that will fit in your shirt pocket.

My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
