I am installing a system in a 2006 Dodge Ram Quad Cab. Everything is Dynamatted, Ramm matted and ensolite foamed. My problem is the stock rear cab vents that go to the outside that sit behind the rear seat. They rattle when you hit the back wall of the cab. They are plastic with felt looking baffles that move when air flows thru if. I dont think it is a good idea to just remove them and seal up the holes. Here is a picture of them. Any ideas?

Why not remove them and in it's place install a mesh grill instead. This will eliminate the rattle and also still allow air movement through the vented area.

Um, no, the vents need to be there unless you want to burn out your motor in the heating system. It is how pressure is released from the vehicle, with the heater or AC blowing air into the cabin and no escape for it, all it does it build internal pressure in the cabin that will bog down the heater AC motor and cause it to have a smelly smokey untimely non warrantyable death. My issue with mesh is that is allows water to come in, louvered vents are the best option I hate to say. At least it's not a GM your working on....
