2001 Acura 3.2 CL, system upgrade

Installers, I am in need of some assistance.

I recently (December) purchased a new (to me) car, a 2001 Acura 3.2 CL.  Though I thought my days of modified car audio systems were over, I find myself unsatisfied with the factory Bose sound system.  I have some components that are left over from old systems, and I would like to go ahead and install a mild system in this car.

I have done installations on many other cars of mine and friends, but this one is stumping me a little, due to the nature of the install.  Here are a couple things that I need to figure out how to do, and I'm hoping you can help with this.

I want to retain the voice-guide from my navigation system (plays through factory speakers)

I want to retain the factory head-unit, as I want to stay with as OEM a look as possible.  As such, do I need to bypass any factory amplifier(s), and if so, how do I do this?

The equipment I have is as follows:  Alpine 4-channel amplifier (for mains), Alpine monoblock (for subwoofer), Boston Acoustics ProSeries 12.2 (2 ohm, single coil) subwoofer, Monster Cable Micro XLN Interconnects, Monster Cable power distribution block and power cables. 

For the time being, I will retain the factory speakers, with the intention of replacing them with some Boston Acoustics or Focal speakers when I find some for a good price.

Can any of you assist me with this project??  Please post up!!!

The time to buy new speakers is now unfortunately. Giving the stock speakers the kind of power you have from your amp is more than likely going to result in a recipe for disaster.  To keep the factory head you will need an interface adaptor like the Audio Control 6XS, LC8i, Rockford 360 or similar.

Okay, well if I need to buy new speakers, that's fine.  But I'm more worried about integrating the amplifiers to the factory head unit.  I understand I can do this using LOCs, so I guess my next question is:

Can I replace the factory head unit with an aftermarket one, and not lose the functionality of the navigation system?
