1-I am trying to figure out what the brown, orange, and ORANGE / white aftermarket adapter wires connect to on my alpine wiring harness.  2-Additionally, I don't see a ground wire to connect to the alpine ground.  3-Last, my vehicle has a small wire (BROWN / blue) that has a connected to the factory deck, but I haven't been able to find anything about what it's for.  Any help on any of these three questions would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

1. ORANGE  = Illumination ORANGE / WHITE = DIMMER  BROWN = ?

2. You have to ground to the frame or the metal strapping on the back of the OEM deck.

3. What was the BROWN / BLUE wire connected to on the Alpine deck.

1. I apologize for the confusion.  I know what the wires are (i.e. orange=illumination, ORANGE / white=dimmer, brown=mute).  What I need to know is what to connect them to on the alpine wiring harness?

2.  Thank you.

3.  The BROWN / blue wire was connected to the back of the stock deck.  I don't know what it does or what to connect it to on the apline deck.  Or if I need to connect it at all.

1. If there's no connection for them, just insulate them (tape them off, or use a bell cap/ heat shrink) somehow so they don't short.
3. If it was just connected to the chassis at the back of the stock deck, it was a ground connection.
